Event Decription

Be a part of event #1 as Boost Biz Ed launches in San Diego with an exciting partnership with the Conscious Business Chamber of Commerce. Boost Biz Ed fuels small business owners and pros with actionable education from local business experts and top speakers. Small business will transform society in new and greater ways one action at a time. Be a part the movement!

We will be meeting at the shiny new SPACES in University Town Center. If you’re ready for heightened business, and a heightened life, get your ticket and join us.

Our first speaker is the dynamic Patrick “Catfish” Curran who will inspire us to not only optimize our websites – for more business – but to also optimize our lives.

Patrick says:

“When I left my job at a big website development firm I believed that most companies claiming to be SEOs were really selling snake oil. So when I co-founded Hatchtag, I set out to disprove the practice outright. In many ways I was right. Then I found that when done properly, there is no real substitute for the power of organic search traffic. We have had some amazing wins in rankings for clients, and now I can say with confidence that we are capable of ranking a website in nearly any industry faster than 95% of other SEOs out there.

“Because of how much business this skillset generated and how personally I invest myself in the success of my clients, my personal life got turned upside down. With my back against the wall, and for lack of better options, I began to apply the same strategies I use to rank websites on page one of Google search results, to directly OPTIMIZING MY LIFE.

Come, hear my story, and learn how you can realize such optimization as well!”

Patrick Curran is a devoted father of four, committed to raising good humans.

He is also an art teacher, search engine optimizer, marketing strategist, heavy thinker, and armchair philosopher.

Catfish, as he has been known to his friends and family since playing Little League baseball, rapped in a touring hip-hop group for much of the 2000’s and created dope beats for underground phenoms Closed Heart Surgery, Chris Walken, and Xzibit.

Patrick went to Wesleyan University in Connecticut and is a firm believer in liberty, kindness, the scientific method, and the search for the heart of everything that is.

When not developing digital marketing and SEO campaigns for both on and offline businesses at his agency Hatchtag, Inc., he spends much of his time hiking, singing, and dancing with his small army of four world-changers in Murrieta, CA.
