Who is Chris Castillo?
Chris Castillo is the founder of Empowered Achievers. She comes from the advertising agency world, where she was a mobile media planner with Google as her main client, running their multi-million dollar campaigns. The agency world operates on tight client deadlines and a churn-and-burn mentality for young employees, and she quickly learned that it wasn’t the right fit for her. She took the time to focus in on her career needs, moving into corporate Learning & Development, and building her role and business accordingly. She now owns Empowered Achievers, where she works with high-achieving women to develop fulfilling careers that fit seamlessly into their lives.
Chris is at her happiest when working with people to take their careers from work to passion. In her free time, she enjoys supporting women in the workplace through local and national industry groups and exploring the great outdoors along with her trusty dog sidekick, Mora.
Why should I trust Chris?
I’m very involved in the Denver community, especially with groups such as Women of Denver and Denver Boss Babes. I attend many events and speak on panels, from those with Denver AdClub to General Assembly. Due to the nature of my business, I’m always focused on growing my tribe and am sharing events with them as ways to connect. I’m active on social media and send weekly emails with training tips to keep my crew engaged.
